I'm Andie Martin, a Mortgage Agent Level 2 with Today's Mortgage Choice (TMC), a family-owned mortgage brokerage proudly serving clients across Ontario

You could say mortgages and finance are in my DNA. Growing up watching my father excel in multiple finance and mortgage based business ventures and eventually opening TMC, I saw firsthand the impact that the right advice can have on a family's future. Today, I'm proud to continue that legacy by helping Canadians navigate one of the biggest financial decisions they'll ever make.

My career began behind the scenes, underwriting mortgage applications for some of Canada's top mortgage agents. That experience gave me a strong foundation in lender guidelines, complex income situations, and what it truly takes to get a mortgage approved. Since becoming an agent in 2018, I've combined that technical knowledge with a client-first approach focused on transparency, communication, and education.

MPP Retreat 2026 ⛱️🐚🐠

What an incredible week at Secrets Akumal. Easily one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve experienced. From the lush jungle pathways woven throughout the property to some of the best all-inclusive food I’ve ever had, it was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and unforgettable memories.

This year, roughly 150 mortgage agents from across Canada were rewarded with a 5-day getaway, and having TMC represented as the largest brokerage group made it even more special. Taking a pause during the busy spring market to unwind (and maybe enjoy a few too many bevys) alongside such an amazing group of colleagues was exactly what we all needed.

We made the trip extra memorable with a night off-resort in Playa Del Carmen. Strolling down 5th Ave, soaking in the atmosphere, and enjoying an authentic Mexican dinner. And one of the biggest highlights? Snorkelling right off the beach at the resort and spotting nearly a dozen sea turtles in the wild. Truly unforgettable.

A huge thank you to Manulife, @dlccanada, and @mortgagecentrecanada for such an amazing week away.

March was B-U-S-Y !! (and amazing in every single way possible)

Started strong with a hockey tournament, getting my hands on my new cutie car, and hopping on a plane! 🏒🛞✈️

Got thousands of steps in visiting the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, and Universal Studios.

And of course, took time to wind down with a beautiful boat day and sitting by the pool (while answering a couple of emails) 🐬🌞

Came back home to Dexter by the door and hosted a lovely team dinner. Just to pack my bags again for a girls’ trip to Toronto to see the Blue Jays games. Cannot forget my content shoot, because work hard, play hard! 💪

Things I do as a mortgage broker that would seem insane in any other job:

1. See all your banking transactions you’ve made the past 3 months
2. Answer emails at all hours of the night
3. Work from the office, kitchen island, airport lounge, bed, car, hotel lobby bar, stands at the jays game.. really just about everywhere
4. Tell people that spending an extra $40,000 isn’t that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things
5. Negotiate like I’m arguing a case in court
6. Print 50 pages of actual paper instead of everything electronic like its 2001
7. Run 12 different options for my clients and make a spreadsheet for each one just to be sure they understand
8. Pull up clients ID after a call to see if the voice matches the face LOL
